Trip Overview

Everest View Trek is short, easier and less-crowded trek in Everest region to introduce you to magnificent Everest region, its warm people and stunning scenery. It is perfect for beginners and limited time travelers. This short hike in Everest region takes you all the half way to Everest Base Camp offering the best view of mighty Everest from lowest possible elevation.

35 minutes adventurous Trans-Himalayan flight from Kathmandu takes you to Lukla, the gateway to Everest region. We join the main Everest trail and rise up to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), an unofficial capital of Sherpa via Phakding and Monjo. We halt for 2 night at Namche to ensure proper acclimatization at higher altitude.

Embarking further to Khumjung, we visit Everest view hotel, Kunde hospital, Khumjung School and Khumjung monastery. Khumjung museum protects Yeti Scalp and we visit to check it. Along the way, we will explore authentic villages dotted with prayer flags, chortens and monasteries that connects you well with Tibetan Buddhism.

Further hiking to Tengboche monastery (oldest monastery in Khumbu region) rewards you with great panorama of mighty Everest beside Nuptse, Lhotse to the northeast and Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Tawache to the southeast. Photographic opportunities are endless.
