Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp takes 7 to 12 days depending on itinerary and walking hours per day. 11 days ABC trekking itinerary starts from Nayapul (1 ½ hour drive from Pokhara) and takes the route of Poonhill (3,210m), the popular view point in Nepal after Kalapatthar. From Poonhill, the trail descends back to Ghorepani and heads eastward to Chomrong and walk north up to enter into the Modi Khola valley that leads you to the Base Camp.

Day 05: Bamboo – Deurali (3,230m/10,600ft) – 3/4 hours trek
Day 06: Deurali – Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,545ft) via Machhapucchre Base Camp (3,700m/12,135ft) – 5/6 hours trek
Day 07: Annapurna Base Camp – Bamboo – 7/8 hours trek
Day 08: Bamboo – Jhinu Danda (1,760m/5,770ft) – 5/6 hours trek
Day 09: Jhinu Danda – Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara – 6 hours trek/1.5 hour drive
Day 10: Fly from Pokhara – Kathmandu
