Yarlung Tsangpo Gorge Tour is one of mysterious tour in the “roof of the world” above the Qinghai-Tiber Plateau. The turbulent rapids, impressive gorge, daunting peaks and exotic forests are the major attractions of the tour. This tour covers the best part of the eastern area of Tibet. Travelers can experience and witness the authentic culture, remote life and enjoy the dramatic views.

The stunning waters of the braided Yarling Tsangpo flows through huge swathe of land flanked by dramatic sand dunes and rich in Tibetan history. The Yarlung Tsango and nearby Chongye Valley formed the original seat of the Yarlung Dynasty of Tibetan king and was the major ancient trade route of India and Bhutan. Yarlung Tsangpo also known as the “Cradle of Tibetan Civilization” houses numbers of ancient monasteries, temples, caves, stupa and castles.

April to May and September to October are the time of the year to visit Yarlung Tsangpo Gorge. The months of September and October are the best months to trek and shoot in the valley. Before embarking for the trip to Yarlung Tsangpo Valley, you must consider following points strictly:

You must be aware of changeable weather. It is wise to bring some warm clothes with you
Roads are not in good conditions so you should be aware your care wisely
Carry extra food and water
Don’t forget to carry some medical kits as the proposed destination lies in high altitude and basically very remote
