For years, my 81-year-old grandpa talked about visiting Mansarover and Mt. Kailash. Finally, this year, we made the trip. Along with my grandma and other older family members, I was the youngest traveler at 30. I was a bit scared because I heard there's less oxygen and everyone with me was pretty old. Both Mansarover and Mt. Kailash has deep religious significance. The lake, Mansarover, is believed to cleanse one's sins with a single dip. Mt. Kailash is seen as Lord Shiva's home and a place of spiritual reverence. We sought a local travel agency in Nepal for assistance. They efficiently managed our permits and visas. Their package was comprehensive, providing us with a guide, cook, and essentials like warm jackets bearing their company's emblem. Before our journey, they exchanged our currency, ensuring each of us had 1000 Yuan.Embracing both the spiritual and adventurous spirit, I knew we were set for a 10 days of remarkable journey.
Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi Drive (Nepal-China Border)
Today, our travel agency had everything arranged for us, starting with a bus pickup from Balaju. We had an early breakfast and then set out on our drive to Syabrubesi. The journey took us about 7-8 hours, passing through the scenic Shivapuri National Park. Midway, we stopped at Trisuli and enjoyed a delicious Nepali khana set. Our dayconcluded with an overnight stay right on the Nepal side of the border.
Day 2: Drive to Kerung
Alpine Kailash Trek made my stay in Kathmandu and in the Himalayas a life-changing experience! it was luxury experience for spiritual cleaning! All the best to Alpine Kailash Trek Family.

Nepal is an amazing place to visit and I cannot wait to go back one day!
Pradip (Managing Director of the Company) made our stay in Kathmandu even better and more memorable - we went out for a typical Nepalese dinner with traditional dances! He is professional, friendly and helped us in a critical moment (when we missed our return flight). I definitely recommend using Alpine Kailash Trek! We had a great and very experienced guide in the mountains. Our trek was up to Gokyo lakes and it was heavenly beautiful and picturesque. It really made a difference to have someone local and friendly to tell you stories about the people, culture and all. Also helped when we had to take our trekking licenses for the Everest region.
Overall, we had a wonderful trip! Good luck Pradip Pandit and Alpine Kailash Trek Family. wish you all the best!
