The summit offers the surreal view of Himalayas with five peaks over 8,000m visible – Everest (8,848m), Cho-Oyu (8,201m0, Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,463m) and Kanchenjunga (8,586m). The crossing of Ampu Labcha pass requires high fitness and technical knowledge of using climbing equipment. The pass offers the magnificent Himalayan views and heartily scenery of Hongu Lakes and Panch Pokhari Lakes.
Mera Peak Climbing with Ampu Labcha Pass starts after 40 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla in a tiny airstrip, the adventure starts from the beginning of the trek. We spend several days trekking and interacting with local people as we are staying in local lodges and teahouse. All our treks are organized in conjunction with local Sherpa guides.
This trek is suitable for global trotters who wish to experience climbing expedition along with camping trek in heartland of Khumbu region. April to May and September to November are the best time of the year to for Mera Peak Climbing and Ampu Labcha Pass.
