Best Season for Mountain Biking in Lhasa
April to October are the best season for mountain biking in Lhasa. During these months, there are not much rain in Tibet, the plateau lies behind the rain shadow area. Occasionally it might rain at July and August but rest of the season remains fine with clear blue sky. The high passes might encounter snowfalls if it rains in the month of April and end of October.
The weather in Tibetan Plateau remains moderate while night turns into crisp and clear. The temperature surprisingly might rise high up to 20 degree Centigrade during the day time but goes below the freezing level during night.
