Detail Itinerary of Bhutan Bumthang Trek

01

Flight to Bhutan is one of most exciting and adventurous fight among other mountain flight. As you step outside the plane, you are greeted with cool and fresh air, the first gift of Bhutan.

After completion of immigration and custom formalities, our airport representative will meet you outside the terminal hall and transfer you to the hotel at Paro.

After hotel check in and refreshment, we set for exploration of lush Paro valley. Staying at Paro is good for proper acclimatization. We visit Ringpung Dzong also known as the fortress of the heap of jewels. We also visit National museum which once served as watch tower to defend Ringpung Dzong in the time of inter-valley war. Next, we pay homage to Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest and most sacred temple in the Kingdom. From here, we drive to visit Drukyel Dzong which was built in 1646 to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invaders.

This Dzong was badly burned down by catastrophic fire many years ago but the ruins are worth exploring. To the north, the spectacular dome of sacred Jomolhari (Mother Mountain) can be seen (subject to clear weather). Overnight at Paro.
